An open day recruitment at Manila Hotel. I think you already know what I'm talking about here... that 5 star airline called Qatar Airways!(please bear with me its my first time to blog haha!)
I woke up feeling confident about what will happen that day (18 February 2012). I'm with my friends and that was my 2nd time applying for QR.
Upon arriving at Manila Hotel around 0800H we could already see a long line waiting for their turn to register. we line up and after lining up for registration you need to fall in line again for the reach test which is 212cm, luckily I passed the reach test so I moved on inside the Fiesta Hall of Manila Hotel, there were a lot of applicants inside waiting for their turn to be interviewed. I finished around 1230H. I'm really an observant on what is happening around me, there were some applicants whom I believed that are currently flying, so what's my edge? I already loose hope because in the first place they have more experience than me, my only edge is the training I had with ICATS (International Cabin Attendant Training School). Another thing is the interviewer has this two separate spaces where she puts the resume of the applicants, on her left was a pile of resumes that's about 2-3 inches thick that I believe resumes that were rejected, on her right was just a few resumes that I believe who passed the initial screening, I saw that she put my resume on her right side so I hope that I could make it on the assessment on the following day. I waited the whole day for the or call but I didn't receive anything from them... So maybe its not yet the perfect time for me, I already assume that I passed the initial screening, I just pray and praised God for what happened and I believe that he has plans for me... a plan that only God knows :)
